The sun was shining down through the mulberry trees, lighting up morning glory flowers all over the garden today. These vines are almost done for the year – I’ve been pulling them up all week. I’m a little sorry to see the blossoms go, but they really only look like this in the morning. The rest of the time… meh.

Snip Snip
I was wondering who was making all those half circle patterns in the morning glory leaves. I suspected a leaf cutter bee, but it took awhile for me to actually spot one in action. Today I noticed a bee kept returning to the same vine to collect leaf bits, so I parked myself there for awhile and took some photos.
