Moving Day
I thought it was rare to see one of these this late in October, then I logged in to my 365 account tonight and everyone is posting ladybug pictures! 🙂 I guess the little beetles are on the move, looking for a warm place to hibernate.

There are a bunch of ladybugs in my garden right now, and who doesn’t like a ladybug? Their appearance signifies spring, they’re colorful and cute, and they eat aphids. Hopefully this group will hang around for awhile, because I’ve got a lot of aphids that need to be eaten.
Hey Lady!
So, I had a photo of a spider and one of a ladybug. Ladybug or spider? Spider or ladybug? In the end the ladybug won. No, not because it’s cuter (although it is), but because the spider was sitting there staring at me with all of its eyes and being very still even though my lens was practically touching its hairy little legs, whereas this one wouldn’t stop moving for a second. Not. One. Second. This photo took effort, and I was reminded that ladybug models do not take direction… so here are my panning skills (ha) in action.
