I spent yesterday at Yosemite National Park and managed to visit the Ansel Adams gallery while I was there. This photo shows a selection of postcards featuring Adams’ photographs that I purchased from the gallery store.

Yosemite Winter
I took so many pictures at the park, it was difficult to choose just one for my photo of the day. I’ll be adding more to my Flickr account (skelly10) tomorrow, er I guess that’s today now. But first, sleep….
The Fruits of My Labor

Rubber Bands, Rubber Balls
What is it?
A trip to the farmer’s market today turned up this bunch of odd looking fruit. Yellow calamari? Squash blossoms? That face-hugger from “Alien”? Nope, just a variation of citron, “Fingered Citron”, which is also known as “Buddha’s Hand”. It smells wonderful.
Woodpecker
Acorn woodpeckers were out in full force today taking advantage of the lovely weather to rearrange the stash in their granary trees.
Inaugural Cookies
My old oven died a couple of weeks ago, and today its replacement was finally installed. I celebrated by baking cowboy cookies. I’m feeling very fortunate that I have a working oven again, so I thought it was fitting that the first food that was made with it should be the subject of my photo of the day.
