I had to sneak a photo of one of these in before they’re done for the season. This is the first time I’ve successfully grown nasturtiums since moving to Sacramento. They grow everywhere in my hometown, Santa Cruz, but not so much here. Maybe they prefer being close to the ocean.

Glory
The sun was shining down through the mulberry trees, lighting up morning glory flowers all over the garden today. These vines are almost done for the year – I’ve been pulling them up all week. I’m a little sorry to see the blossoms go, but they really only look like this in the morning. The rest of the time… meh.
