I’m being lazy and using today’s Instagram pic here as well. Today I made salted caramel apple butter and peach BBQ sauce (pictured). Peeps are getting jars of food for the holidays.
I have a small collection of vintage blue canning jars that I would never actually boil food in, so I was happy when Ball released these reproductions. Now I just have to decide what to use them for.
Two kinds of tomato jam – sweet and smokey, or slightly spicy. These will eventually be Christmas presents for friends and family…well, assuming we don’t eat it all first!
My lunch today was a BLT sandwich, with the L & T harvested from my garden, the B a vegan version made by my sister, and the bread baked by me this morning.
