Old School

I know, they’re not nearly as energy efficient, but I love my old incandescent Christmas lights. I think they have much more warmth and charm than the LED versions.

Beach Day

I took a day trip out to the coast on “Black Friday” because competitive shopping isn’t my thing. This big red umbrella was the first object to catch my eye as I walked out onto the beach.

I had to stop for photo ops in the middle of making cranberry sauce. Most of the pictures didn’t turn out, and this one barely did, but I’m posting it anyway. I’ll have to try this again next time I make a sugary fruit sauce – I love how the sugar looks like snow.

Midtown

After a loooong dry spell of unemployment I’ve finally landed a regular job. Well, a regular temp job anyway. It doesn’t start for a few more weeks, but I was there at the office filling out paperwork today. Perhaps soon there will be less garden themed photos and more midtown graffiti.
