I had a different subject in mind for the picture of the day, but then I saw Bones asleep like this and had to make a switch.

The weather was warm enough to open up doors and windows today. Hello sunshine!

 

Here sits the reason that I’m not uploading a photo of an adorable white-crowned sparrow that was at the feeder this evening.

We don’t know when his actual birthday is, but we estimate he was about 8 or 9 months old when he first showed up here in August 2003, so happy new year birthday.
